Authentic No Refrigeration Bakery Frosting/Icing, A frosting just like the bakeries use on their cakes and there is no refrigeration required–it may be kept for 3 months covered in the refrigerator just bring to room temperature before using Recipe yields 8 cups of frosting You will love this!, awful recipe it was not good at all i’ve been making cakes for over 20 years and also independently study the pastry arts this is a bad recipe, If your looking for grocery store bakery tasting frosting this is the closest I have found, I added a little heavy whipping cream and less water to mine to make it more creamy Nice spreading consistency and pipes beautifully and I like that it doesn’t get hard in the refrigerator like butter based frostings, and doesn’t melt in the summer heat This does crust so if your not using it right away you want to cover it and then whip it again before using
