Pear Custard Cobbler, This deep-dish cobbler has a custard filling and is made with canned pears use the pears in light syrup You can also substitute Splenda for the sugar , Can you make this in advance or is it better made and served immediately?, This was a different and delicious cobbler which my family really enjoyed with vanilla ice cream This would be perfect in the winter when the best fresh fruit isn’t available I think next time I would add a little of the syrup from the canned pears to the mix for a juicier result A little cinnamon would be a great optional addition Thank you for a wonderful and easy recipe
