Sausage With Warm Fruit

Features:
    Cuisine:

Made this last night with an omlet for dinner. I got the package of Jimmy Dean sausage that comes in a tube and made little meat balls out of them for this recipe. I only used 1 tbsp of brown sugar and found it to be sweet enough. DH saw the pan sitting on the stove and me slicing banana into it and said "What the heck are you doing? Have you lost your mind?" lol he loved it tho and went back for more and said I didn't make enough. Great, easy dish, thanks for posting. I was just thinking. My mom makes sausage balls with sweet Italian sausage meat mixed with chopped waterchestnuts. She makes them into golf ball sized balls and usually cooks them in a pan until done and serves them with duck sauce or swt & sour sauce as hours devours. I bet those would be really wonderful in this dish rather than with the duck sauce. And you could serve it over rice as a main dish for dinner too. Once again, great post, love recipes that get me thinking. Thanks again.
