Slovak Egg Dumplings

Features:
    Cuisine:

I think I was a little confused as to how to push the dough into the water with the spoons, but then I figured it out! used 2 spoons, one slotted and the other regular- and I pushed the dough with the regular spoon through the slotted spoon, and voila! little dough dumplings! Put them into chicken soup, they were delicious little bites!!

Slovak Egg Dumplings,We always made this to go with chicken pakrikash. It is very easy and it does taste good. We never had a recipe but I just measured the ingredients used the last time I made the dumplings. I have my mother’s dumpling maker. You can also use the back of a spoon (we used to use a tablespoon), Place the dough on a dinner plate, dip the back of the spoon in boiling water and push the dough in the boiling water. Keep dipping the spoon in boiling water as the spoon cools.,I think I was a little confused as to how to push the dough into the water with the spoons, but then I figured it out! used 2 spoons, one slotted and the other regular- and I pushed the dough with the regular spoon through the slotted spoon, and voila! little dough dumplings!
