Lucky Sweet and Sour Sauce, My most favorite Sweet and Sour Sauce. I often add pineapple, sliced green pepper and maraschino cherries. You can use it as a dipping sauce or add it to cooked meat or poultry., I pan fried a large pork chop along with chunks of onion and tomato. I halved the sauce ingredients since it’s for 2 of us. Used Orange-Pineapple juice. I sliced the pork it was not yet fully cooked into bite size pieces after letting it cool for 10 minutes I put the pork chop back into the pan, with the onions and tomato, added the sauce ingredients and cooked until the sauce thickened. It was a bit sour and sure it was because of the tomatoes, but mom wanted them. I did not mind because it had a nice tang to it. Will definitely make sauce again without using tomatoes, and use this sauce for meatballs, chicken, beef, fish, leftovers. . . anything! Very versatile. Thanks Lorac !
