Another Shrimp Scampi

Features:
    Cuisine:

I added red pepper and asparagus just before cooking the shrimp. I would use less white wine next time and more garlic. Fresh ground pepper was also a nice addition.

Another Shrimp Scampi,I changed a recipe I got from a cookbook by Giuliano Hazan. This makes a yummy sauce that is great with crusty bread. When I want to add pasta, I usually double the recipe except for the amount of shrimp.,I added red pepper and asparagus just before cooking the shrimp. I would use less white wine next time and more garlic. Fresh ground pepper was also a nice addition.,So yummy! used fully cooked shrimp instead of raw & I added some chopped red onion with the garlic. I skipped the red pepper flakes but added some fresh ground pepper. I added the shrimp to the pan, heated about 1 minute then added wine & cooked 1 more min while turning the shrimp. I followed the rest of the recipe & topped the dish off with crisp steamed fresh broccoli & served over spaghetti. A little Italian bread to mop up the sauce made this all so Delish!
