    Beef Stroganoff,This is a great beef stroganoff recipe.,what do use inlace of sour cream it is dairy,This is very similar to what I’ve made for years. I applaud any recipe that does NOT include canned cream of mushroom soup. use fresh sliced mushrooms, which I think add hugely, brown with the meat before adding the flour. I also tried subbing yogurt of varying fat content, all broke to some extent. I’ve even faked out my husband with ground turkey with a lot if worchestershire and he thought it was great.

    Coat Meat With Flour.

    Heat Large Skillet, Add Butter.

    Add Meat and Brown Quickly on Both Sides Add Mushrooms, Onion and Garlic to Skillet. Cook 3-4 Minutes Until Onion Is Crisp-Tender. Remove Mixture from Pan Add Butter to Pan Drippings, Blend in Flour.

    Add Beef Broth.

    Cook & Stir Over Medium-High Heat, Until Thickened & Bubbly, Then Return Meat Mixture to Pan. Stir in Sour Cream.

    Cook Slowly Until Heated Through.
