Beer Batter

Features:
    Cuisine:

use this recipe for my fish-n-chips / cod fillet sandwiches. I really like it. occasionally it can get a bit thin if I add a bit much beer. Otherwise, the flavor is minimal which leaves plenty of room for the flavor of the fish (and Malt Vinegar and Tartar Sauce, etc.). I may try it with onion rings and mushrooms, etc, but I will thicken it with less beer. This is my go to and keeper beer batter recipe. Give it a try!

Beer Batter,,use this recipe for my fish-n-chips / cod fillet sandwiches. I really like it. occasionally it can get a bit thin if I add a bit much beer. Give it a try!,This is the best recipe and I did put cornstarch on salt/peppered chicken before using beer batter…delicious. That batter would be good on fish, shrimp, sweet. N sour chicken. used 12 ounces beer plus 1.5 c flour, 1-1/2 tsp baking powder, only 1 egg.
