Best Ever Fresh Onion Dip

Features:
    Cuisine:

Very quick to do and good. I lightened it up a bit more with nonfat products and it was STILL good. Very onion-y. I bought pretels especially to dip but it would be good with anything. Also a very inexpensive recipe to make--a good one!

Best Ever Fresh Onion Dip, A lighter onion dip that tastes fabulous Serve it with pretzels or raw veggies Since I only make this dip with the fabulous Texas 1015 sweet onions, this recipe must be a Southwestern U S recipe , Very quick to do and good I lightened it up a bit more with nonfat products and it was STILL good Very onion-y I bought pretels especially to dip but it would be good with anything Also a very inexpensive recipe to make–a good one!, Thanks for a terrific dip recipe! I love onions and when I read this simple yet tasty-sounding recipe, I knew it was the one to try I made it to go with our family Christmas dinner appetizers and boy, was I glad I did! It was a hit! The family cooks wanted the recipe for themselves, loving that it had all fresh ingredients and were very impressed with the taste for a lower-fat dip! used one shallot to round out the cup of chopped onions for a bit of garlic (a favorite) flavor & it was perfect Garlic-lovers might even like using half shallots/half sweet onions, but I especially love onions in a dip, so I stuck with mostly the sweet I chilled it overnight and the consistency was perfect I forgot the vegetables to go with the dip and my family didn’t miss them at all – they said they thought it went great with the variety of crackers I served It is exciting to have a delicious, simple and versatile new party food to take to any social event and share with friends and family in the future!
