    Um...in looking at the picture those are not cashews, but hazelnuts? Did you mean to put hazelnuts in the recipe as opposed to cashews? I'm sure either would work, but I think the hazelnuts would be better. Molly Hill

    Winter Fruit Salad With Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing,I had this at a friends house & had to have the recipe. Everyone I have made it for begs for the recipe. Everyone just loves this!,Um…in looking at the picture those are not cashews, but hazelnuts? Did you mean to put hazelnuts in the recipe as opposed to cashews? I’m sure either would work, but I think the hazelnuts would be better. Molly Hill,Delicious salad, love the dressing! I left the peels on the apple and pear, and swapped the shredded cheese for feta and the cashews for hazelnuts since we had those on hand and our family prefers them.

    In a Blender or Food Processor, Combine Sugar, Lemon Juice, Onion, Mustard and Salt.

    With Machine Still Running Add Oil in a Slow Steady Stream Until Mixture Is Thick and Smooth.

    Add Poppy Seeds and Process Just a Few Seconds More to Mix.

    in a Large Serving Bowl Combine the Romaine Lettuce, Shredded Swiss Cheese, Cashews, Dried Cranberries, Cubed Apple and Cubed Pear.
