    Oatmeal and Apple Butter Bars,This is one of my newly adopted recipes. I tossed this together tonight while fixing dinner. Very quick and easy dessert. used regular apple butter, but no added sugar apple butter could be used as well. ,This is a solid five. My boyfriend really loves these and so does anyone that tries them. I make my own crockpot applesauce butter for this recipe. I have made them with other butters as well and they are all good. Thanks for posting this recipe.,I had some homemade apple butter that was going bad and needed to be used up. I decided to give this recipe a try. It was totally delicious! I had to use some steel cut oats mixed with quick oats because I didnt have what the recipe called for and it still turned out. I also added some walnuts on top for extra crunch. Warmed it in the microwave with some whip cream on top for a tasty fall treat.

    Heat Oven to 350 Degrees.

    Grease 9-Inch Square Baking Pan With Nonstick Cooking Spray.

    Add Butter and Beat With Electric Mixer on Low Until Mixture Is Crumbly.

    Pat Half of the Mixture, About 2 Cups Into Baking Pan.

    Spread Apple Butter Evenly Over Crumb Layer.

    Sprinkle Remaining Crumbs Over Apple Butter and Press Down Gently.

    Bake 30-35 Minutes or Until Golden.
