Absolutely perfect. Made with unsweetened PB and some weird French brand of corn flakes but otherwise made exactly as written and they were perfect. This makes a LOT but I'm not complaining. :-)

Peanut Butter/Corn Flakes Cookies,Mom has made these every year during the holidays since I was a child. The family loves them and they are quite simple to make.,Absolutely perfect. Made with unsweetened PB and some weird French brand of corn flakes but otherwise made exactly as written and they were perfect. This makes a LOT but I’m not complaining. :-),Searching all over internet – comparing the same recipe and find the cereal (corn flakes) amounts vary between 4 and 6 cups. Obviously less would allow for more of a “chewy” bar…any other thoughts? Also I noticed some folks were adding a smidgen of vanilla? Just wanting to replicate these funny (super easy) little bars we loved in school. (That’s where I doubt school cooks were adding vanilla, but back in the old days who knows!) Thoughts? Thanks for help. Kind of embarrassed about asking on such a simple recipe.
