Alabama Oven Fried Chicken, This is a simple recipe and most people have the needed ingredients on hand It was in a cookbook Mother gave me from the Huntsville, Alabama Pilot Club years ago I have made my changes to it over the years Hope you enjoy it!, Does the casserole dish need the lid on?, This was great! used butter in place of the margarine and used bone-in breasts and thighs I would use less than 1/4 cup flour for this next time I cooked the pieces at 400F for about 45 minutes – crispy skin and moist meat Made for Best of 2011 Thanks eHelen! 🙂
