Amish Chicken Casserole

    Cuisine:

This was good. used egg noodles and chopped broccoli in this recipe. I cut back on the salt and only used 1 teaspoon because the chicken broth was salty already. I mixed the broccoli, chicken, and noodles together. Then used shredded cheddar on top along with the parmesan.

Amish Chicken Casserole, A casserole for the nights you have to get a good meal on the table in a hurry. I love casseroles that use good ingredients and is a recipe that you can change to your own taste. You could add some other vegetables to this one. I just love the Dutch-Amish recipes., This was good. used egg noodles and chopped broccoli in this recipe. I cut back on the salt and only used 1 teaspoon because the chicken broth was salty already. I mixed the broccoli, chicken, and noodles together. Then used shredded cheddar on top along with the parmesan., Made this last night and my husband who is “sick of chicken” loved it and said that I should make it again! Everyone else also loved it, too! I had no mushrooms, so used canned peas instead. I also took several people’s advice and topped it with seasoned bread crumbs and parmesan. I also used butter instead of margarine. There was hardly anything left and that disappeared for lunch the next day!
