    Same here for the other comments on doneness and dryness. I give this 3 stars however, because it is easily tweaked.

    Next time I will also add some salsa. In a panic I added some tomato juice about halfway through because we werent anywhere near dinner. And I will reduce the time. Perhaps add some heat. I also changed out the beans to black beans as that was what was on hand.

    This recipe has inspired me though. The foundation is here.

    Combine All the Ingredients, Except Half the Cheese.

    Pour the Mixture Into a Well-Greased Crock-Pot.
