Cajun Crab Dip

Features:
    Cuisine:

Using the "Krab" or imitation crab meat in whole lumps makes the dip almost impossible to dip up with any kind of chip or cracker. Mince the imitation crab in your kitchen chopper before adding into the recipe. Also, used a very finely shredded cheddar cheese for better blending. If you don't like all the salt use Cayenne pepper instead of "Cajun seasoning" but be careful! A little goes a long way.

Cajun Crab Dip,I was looking for a recipe similar to the dip we purchase at the grocery store. This is fairly close. Be careful your Cajun Seasoning is not too salty.,Using the “Krab” or imitation crab meat in whole lumps makes the dip almost impossible to dip up with any kind of chip or cracker. Mince the imitation crab in your kitchen chopper before adding into the recipe. Also, used a very finely shredded cheddar cheese for better blending. If you don’t like all the salt use Cayenne pepper instead of “Cajun seasoning” but be careful! A little goes a long way.,Delicious Crab Dip. For those of you who thought it was too thick, add a few tablespoons of mayonnaise. I doubled the recipe and added at least 3 or 4 tablespoons and it was the perfect dip consistency. I omitted the cheddar cheese and the italian seasoning (not a fan) but otherwise followed the directions. It was such a hit. Thank you. Making again this weekend for a neighborhood get together. I may need to quadruple the recipe this time.
