Coffee Bbq/ Grilling Sauce

Features:
    Cuisine:

The name is a little misleading as this sauce does not taste like coffee. However it is tasty and goes great on tacos. The cumin flavor is very powerful. If I make it again I will use more coffee and less cumin, if any.

Coffee BBQ/ Grilling Sauce,This recipe comes from Christine Cushing. She used it on grilled drumsticks. It is a wonderfully full flavoured sauce- the coffee adds alot of depth. Try it…,The name is a little misleading as this sauce does not taste like coffee. However it is tasty and goes great on tacos. The cumin flavor is very powerful. If I make it again I will use more coffee and less cumin, if any.,Great BBQ sauce! Didn’t have Jalapenos so used Chipotle. Instead of mustard powder I ground up Black Mustard Seeds with my mortar and pestle. Used this on chicken that I started in a beer and chicken broth and pressure cooker (with the chicken above the broth in a rack… and finished in the broiler adding the sauce in the last 5 minutes of broiling.
