Crock Pot Apple and Brown Sugar Corned Beef,An all-in-one meal that’s easy to make and a huge pleaser. I got this recipe from a friend’s mother.,have never cooked corned beef.. i understand there are 2 types of brisket.. one that comes in a brine with seasoning packet.. or a plain beef brisket.. our store only had the last.. which of these 2 are used in this recipe? i was told u needed to sit the meat in a seasoned brine for days??,Agree that, brown sugar should be an option. The,Apple juice added, enough sweetness and flavor. Less time for smaller cuts. Used by IP.1hr was enough. Wife love it..no smell from cooking, and less “salty”tasting.
