Crock Pot Caramelized Onions, I like to make a batch of this overnight to use in whatever I’m cooking the next day. The smell of the onions slowly caramelizing overnight lends to very sweet dreams!, I’m never making caramelized onions on the stove again, haha! used a little less oil rather than butter b/c what I had on hand and it turned out great!, To make these onions a little more ‘crispy’ like some people have said they like, I just pop them on the stove in a fry pan with a little butter until they get that crunchy outside. It doesn’t take long. This way, you can just pull out what you need and they crisp up quickly!
