Fish Cakes Fast And Simple

Features:
    Cuisine:

Made these, after reading the reviews. I usually follow the recipe exactly the first time I make something. This time however I decided to tweak this one a bit. I added 1/2 tsp coarse ground black pepper, 1 1/2 tsp of Lemon Pepper seasoning plus a good handful of finely chopped parsley.I did NOT add the Tbs of water as many reviewers suggested. I let the mixture cool before molding it into patties. Then I placed them in the freezer. Once frozen I floured, egged and breaded them. I left four out for dinner and returned the other eight to the freezer for dinner another night. I fried them in very shallow vegetable oil, they were so good can't wait to have them again!

Fish Cakes Fast and Simple,I’m a simple man therefore I like simple things and this little recipe is very simple and quick to make. Great for a camping trip where you’ll cook your catch the same night. I’ve done it many times. You can use any type of fish making this. Serve with a Tarter or Hollandaise sauce and enjoy.,Made these, after reading the reviews. I usually follow the recipe exactly the first time I make something. I searched for a way to use the amazing leftover striped bass my husband caught and I had grilled in foil the night before. The fish was tender and white, so I flaked it and added to the potatoes I had steamed then riced. Love to use Yukon gold. Left out the water, used both eggs and added parsley and some Old Bay seasoning. Fried in organic canola and the patties were amazing.
