Awesome Sauce Chicken Wings

Features:
    Cuisine:

Excellent recipe! Loved the chicken! For this recipe, I found I could only get 3-1/2 lbs. of chicken drumettes and wings in my baking pan. Except for the garlic powder which I forgot to add, and not adding the salt, used all the ingredients needed to make this recipe. I did use a low sodium soy sauce that I purchased from Aldi's (which only had 660 mg of salt), so our chicken didn't taste salty at all. (If desired, you can purchase an even lower sodium soy sauce at Festival's Foods, Essetential Everyday Low Sodium Soy Sauce, which only has 580 mg, but I didn't have enough to make this recipe, so I opt to use the Aldi's brand, which worked fine.) At first I wasn't sure the chicken would crisp up as seeing it's swimming in a lot of liquid, and only baking for 10 minutes at 450, but low and behold it did. I did want to mention, how fabulous our house smelled while the chicken was baking in the oven, and also several hours after we were done eating. I'm looking forward to making this recipe again, as it's so good. Thank you mandycakes for sharing this awesome recipe!!
