Needs More Than 5 Stars! Sorry my review is so long and I'm also sad I never took a picture of my first try. It raised Beautifully & was a picture to behold. Like others, I had many pluses & only one minus. (Might have been my fault) - MINUS: CRUMB TOPPING: I expected the crumb topping to be like a topping on crumb cake. Mine turned out to be a crunchy graze with nuts. I did sprinkle a little cinnamon in the crumb mixture, but, I don't think that was the problem. The taste was great and Hubby and I weren't disappointed. - PLUSES: Great to make Ahead For Company. It took my Hubby & I 3 Days finnish the cake. The last bite was as light, and as tastely as the first, like it was made today. TWEAKS I MADE: Added 2 TBLS Butter Milk Powder to the flour mixture. Added 1 Teasp. Vanilla and 1 Teasp. shreaded Lemon peel to butter, egg & sugar mixture. (Love Blueberries & Lemon - adding more would be OK too and will do so in the future.) OTHER: Even though used fresh Blueberrys, my cake took 55 mins. after I checked after after 45 mins. Might take more if using Frozen Blueberrys. Thank you Katie for a Keeper and a Treasure.
