Buttermilk Baked Tomatoes

Features:

I wonder what the buttermilk does for this recipe? Nevertheless it was very good. I felt like I was eating a mini pizza along with the rest of my dinner. I will definitely make these again and again!

I have made this recipe for years and my kids absolutely love it. It's also a crowd please at office potlucks. Over the years I have only made one modification to it and that is to add the whole can of green chills into the topping instead of the recommended 2 tbls.I have made this recipe for years and my kids absolutely love it.
