    Using the suggestions by other reviewers, I felt comfortable making some changes. used leftover quinoa from another recipe so I didn't add as much water as the recipe listed. I also added a small can of rotel style tomatoes and a can of green chilis. Ground turkey was my protein. I also added a package of taco seasoning with the cumin. This is wonderful! It was fast to prepare, the flavor was great, and it makes very good leftovers.

Next time I will add some veggies bell pepper, corn, etc. It looks a little plain, needs some color!! Would be great served with tortilla chips.
