This is my dad & mom's french toast recipe. Mom contributed the vanilla and Dad contributed the cinnamon. =) This is best with a thick bread like challah or french bread, but sandwich bread will work too.

Looking for the Best French toast recipe? This is the best french toast recipe by far.  It’s a delightful blend of flavors contributed by both of my parents. My mom added the perfect hint of vanilla, while my dad’s touch of cinnamon brings warmth and depth to every bite. This easy and delicious French toast is best made with thick slices of bread like challah or French bread, but even sandwich bread will do in a pinch.

    #### Directions:

    1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

    2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.

    3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.

    4. Cook the bread slices on the skillet until golden brown on both sides.

    5. Serve your delicious French toast warm with your favorite toppings like maple syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit.

    #### Why You’ll Love This French Toast Recipe:

    – The combination of cinnamon and vanilla creates a perfectly balanced flavor.

    – The recipe is versatile; while thick bread like Texas Toast is recommended, any bread you have on hand will work.

    – This French toast is simple to make, making it perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even a sweet treat!

    **Customer Review:**

“This was totally delicious! I really enjoyed it. The cinnamon and vanilla were just the right amount. I found that 3 eggs were plenty for the egg mixture (4 eggs would have been too many). For the bread, I used thick Texas Toast, and it was a great choice. Thanks for sharing your recipe! Made for the Spring 2014 Pick-A-Chef event.” – MistyCat82
